wRap Off – 2018
This is a lighthearted, highly entertaining event that brings together local celebrities willing to show off their silly sides for a great cause. They’re usually judged on their costumes, raps, and donations received during their segments.
For the first time ever, the annual Celebrity wRap Off event will be held entirely online, launched on December 10 after the Gift Wrap Center opens.
This year, contestants will be judged in two categories:
1) the rap song
2) the amount of money you raise.
The lyrics should include a Christmas theme and Greenbriar’s mission. We ask that you please record your original rap performance, dressed in costume, and upload the video files to this Dropbox folder.
So how do you vote?!
Participants will electronically submit videos of their rap performances to Greenbriar (using the link above), and the videos will be posted on social media. Greenbriar’s Facebook followers can “vote” for their favorite rap performer by “liking” the name of their favorite contestant in the comments. The winner will be announced on social media. Facebook users are asked to contribute any amount, no matter how small, through Greenbriar’s online fundraiser before they cast their votes.
All funds benefit Greenbriar Children’s Center.
